worn carpet limited breakfast
the location was acceptable though the house kept its old charm.
I was disappointed the carpet in the hallways seemed old and worn. It really detracted from the overall feel. the breakfast felt a bit limited and didn't offer much variety. also, the staff wasn't always around.

quiet atmosphere short walk plentiful breakfast always available snacks
i appreciated the traditional design and quiet atmosphere. the location is a short walk to many restaurants. i enjoyed coffee on the porch during a rainy morning. the breakfast was plentiful, and snacks and drinks were always available.
the carpet in public areas seemed worn and could use replacement.

the location is quiet and near the downtown area, ideal for exploring. key places of interest are within walking distance, such as gastown and stanley park. the house is in a nice neighborhood.

the staff members were very friendly and always willing to help. the hostess was lovely and helpful, providing information about local attractions. the open and personal welcome from the hosts.

the kitchen and pantry were available to guests at all times, very convenient. i found the ability to make hot drinks, store food, and use the microwave useful. the cookie jar in the kitchen was a nice touch.

breakfast was delicious and plentiful each morning. there was a great choice for breakfast. the wide variety of snacks available in the kitchen was appreciated. the breakfast was AMAZING!!!

good spot, needs fixes
free snacks quick walk
The pantry had free snacks all day and night. I liked that. the location was a quick walk to many places i wanted to see. it was easy to take public transportation from there. the staff stored our bags after checkout.
the master suite room wasn't great, it need some sprucing. the bathroom was one step above a hostel bathroom, a little sad. a standing fan in the room wasn't enough and cut out above 2nd speed. the bed was saggy too.

Staff at breakfast was friendly. They tried hard. i got clear information during the whole process. the staff stored bags when asked. they left clear instructions for late arrivals too.

the king room ground floor room had a bed. the bathroom window fell to pieces when i opened it. this was not good, and i told a housekeeper right away. the carpet looked old.

the breakfast form let me customize my meal. the brekkie was good, and the staff served it with a smile. i found some variations each day, good. i liked the coffee too.

the location is walkable to the main shopping areas. i could easily walk to amenities nearby. the house itself has a lot of character. it really needs some investment to bring it up.

Good Stay at a Charming Location
thoughtful staff homemade cake cute atmosphere
The breakfast was a real treat each morning. I also appreciated the extra touches, like homemade cake and snacks. Staff members were friendly and thoughtful, so I felt very welcome. It.
I noticed the carpet in the public areas looked a bit worn.
